Esther is very excited about the coming baby, she would like a baby brother and seven babies if possible please. We've been talking about how she can be a big helper and she has offered to share her toys - so sweet. She has been patiently waiting til after Daddy's birthday and when it gets cold for baby to come, but now that it has been Julian's birthday she is really keen! We've been having fun enjoying the last warm days in Canberra by exploring fishing spots along the lake - still no luck with fish yet. Esther and Mummy also took in a Wiggles concert and we've all been enjoying craft and baking. Esther is very proudly a 'pre-schooler' at childcare now and has been on a bus wash excursion (terribly exciting) and a visit to the dinosaur museum (which was a bit scary but she recovered). She loves to do a bit of dancing and asks us to 'look at me, I'm doing it!''. She also has a great imagination and loves to play with her princesses, dinosaurs, bunny rabbits making up stories and going to balls. Mummy has even been allowed to (ok I encourage strongly) take part in dressing up games. We've introduced the concept of quiet time with Lamby when she gets grumpy (although prior to accepting she is grumpy we tend to get a stomped foot and emphatic"I am not grumpy"). Welcome to the threes...magical ups and downs.
